Hi all Funki friends,

Autumn is now in full swing. You can tell it’s an intense time both for us and for all of you out in your organisations, and I’ve talked to so many wonderful, dedicated people who want to use the Funki instruments to make their work even better. It’s such fun!

Project with the Swedish Postcode Foundation

Some happy news reached us at the end of September: we have been given the chance to run a project together with the Swedish Postcode Foundation, which will focus on three things in particular:

  • Developing activity concepts for the Funki instruments together with Dibber Rullen adapted school, aimed at pupils following the subject-area curriculum
  • Running a pilot with Misa dator och spel, a daily activity centre that will work with us on producing the instruments
  • Working on the technology around the instruments and renewing the app, to make the instruments even more fun and easier to use in your organisations

It feels truly exciting, fun and inspiring, and it will make the Funki instruments even better and more useful for you.

Autumn half-term with Funki at Tekniska museet

On the weekend of 24–25 October we’ll be at Tekniska museet, Sweden’s National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, running two hours of Funki try-outs. It’s drop-in on both days at 11–12 and 13–14. There’s also a smaller group on the 25th at 15.00 for anyone who’d like to try playing in a calmer setting – email me at maria@funki.se to sign up.

Wishing you all a lovely rest of the autumn, and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to try Funki or have any other questions 🍂😊

Best wishes, Maria
