2. Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following situations:

Contact and form data

When you fill in a form on funki.se (contact, demo booking, corporate gift or newsletter) we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company name (for B2B enquiries)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Message/free text you write

Technical data

When you visit our website the following data may be processed automatically:

  • IP address (pseudonymised)
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time on site
  • Referring website (referrer)

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter we process your email address to send relevant updates about Funki. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each mailing.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

4. Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for its purpose:

  • Form data: Managed via HubSpot CRM and deleted no later than 3 years after last contact, unless an ongoing business relationship requires longer retention.
  • Newsletter: Deleted immediately upon unsubscription.
  • Accounting records: Retained for 7 years under Swedish bookkeeping law.
  • Website logs: Deleted on a rolling basis, normally within 90 days.

5. Third Parties

We share data with a limited number of trusted service providers:

HubSpot, Inc.

Google LLC – Google Fonts

Calendly LLC

Map providers – CARTO, OpenStreetMap and unpkg/Cloudflare
On the map pages, map tiles are loaded from CARTO (based on OpenStreetMap data) and the Leaflet map library from unpkg (Cloudflare CDN). When loaded, your IP address is transferred to these providers. CARTO → · OSM → · Cloudflare →

We never sell your personal data to third parties and do not share it without a legal basis.

6. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. We use the following cookies:

We use CookieYes as our consent management platform. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings icon in the bottom corner of the page.

Analytics and marketing scripts (Google Analytics, HubSpot) only load after you have accepted the corresponding category in the CookieYes banner. If you decline, no analytics or marketing cookies are set during normal browsing on the website. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings — note that disabling cookies may affect certain functionality.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15) – You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) – You may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17) – You may ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), unless retention is required for legal reasons.
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18) – You may ask us to restrict processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) – You may ask to receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21) – You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent – Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via a clear notice on the website. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the policy was last revised.
