Funki for music schools
Traditional instruments can be difficult for students with motor, intellectual or other cognitive disabilities. Funki complements your traditional teaching with instruments that let more students play.
Why Funki
In line with the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 10.2, Funki lets more people be included in social life by being able to take part in music-school teaching in a new way.
The UN's Sustainable Development Goal 3.4 focuses on promoting mental health, and social community is key to feeling well. Funki is a creative way to collaborate and grow together with others.
Music-school work rests largely on the Convention on the Rights of the Child – every child's right to take part freely in cultural life. Funki makes it easy to include more.
Set the instruments to different scales, keys and sound characters. Simple, adaptable and wireless.
Music schools are experts in music teaching. With Funki it becomes easy to share that knowledge with more students.
Funki is available via the Adda Inköpscentral framework agreement, Musikinstrument 2024.
In practice
Funki is made to be played together, both with other Funki instruments and with traditional instruments such as piano or guitar.
Funki can be used at many different levels. There are fantastic opportunities for progression based on each student's individual abilities.
The instruments aren't limited to music alone. In the web app you can also choose ambient sounds for use in, for example, theatre or art contexts.
There are several examples of municipalities where Funki has enabled collaboration between the music school and day activities. Collaboration brings broader skills and shared experience.
